Try Kindergarten for a Day!

Any student that will be in kindergarten fall of 2024 is invited to join the current Kindergarten class for a whole day! The first day of school can be hard if you don’t know what to expect. Spending the whole day in kindergarten makes the first day of school a little easier. Our school day is from 8:00am-3:30pm, so any day that you are able to bring your kindergartener and we are in school. Just email our Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Powers at dpowers@gswels.org, and she will get you all of the information that you need!

LWMS Convention

LWMS Convention

Set to inspire, this year’s convention will center on 1 Peter 2:5, which reminds us that we “like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house.” Worship with more than one thousand sisters and brothers in Christ in Sioux Falls. Our WELS Home and World Missions administrators, featured missionaries, workshop presenters, and “Moments with Missionaries” will highlight where and how the soul-saving gospel message is being spread worldwide! Our faith will be strengthened as we hear God’s Word preached at the devotions and opening and closing services.

LWMS Spring Rally

LWMS Spring Rally

Registration will be 8:30-9:00 am. A morning snack and noon luncheon will be served. Everyone is invited to hear Pastor Dan Lindner tell us about WELS Campus Ministry. Come and hear about what is planned for the National LWMS Convention being held in Sioux Falls, June 27-30! Bring used Meditations, clean white cotton sheets for bandages, baby caps, bucket hats, sunbonnets, washable Covid masks, and sunscreen.

GSL Playgroup

Come to Playgroup twice a month on the 1st Monday and 3rd Tuesday in the Good Shepherd gymnasium! Each playgroup will begin with a short devotion and then the kids can get their energy out for at least 45 minutes while the grownups chat, play, and snack. Toys and snacks will be provided.

Ever feel like life is so frantic you could use just a single moment for your marriage? Join us once a month and take A Moment for Marriage! Pastor Johnson will lead couples through one of the six sections of a full-on marriage retreat! We’ll meet at Good Shepherd the first Sunday of the month at 6:30pm.
